My mother was diagnosed last Nov.with NHL.Her Dr told her he just wanted to keep an eye on her and not do any treatment.Just to keep her scheduled cat scans and Drs appt.Well last week he got the results of her most recent cat scan and has decided to start chemo.can any one please explain the process to me...Thank you

all chemo regimes are different and some can be done outpatient. I had to stay in for the chemo and then be very carefuk about staying away from others who were sick. I think anyone on chemo losses thier hair and I hated the tightness of the wig so I just wore a hat. You lose all the hair on you body.
She should get meds to help with the nausea and that it please.
It makes you tired and do not go in the sun. But it is survivable. and things get better
