Financial help?
Jun 15 2006, 10:46 PM EDT I was just diagnosed with cancer. I am a charity care patient and it took me six months to even get to see a doctor. I can't pay my bills and I am totally stressed. I dont even know what stage the cancer is in. Can anyone send me some info on how I can help myself in this crazy situation? Also, if you register as a wikiCancer user and provide an email address where you can be reached, I can send you information as I come across it. There are several organizations around to help people in your situation, though they are sometimes hard to track down. More information about your cancer type will also help, as some organizations exist to specifically help people with specific cancers. Jun 21 2007, 8:50 PM EDT you can go to www.cfoa.com Cancer Fund Of America, they will send you a small check to help cover bills. They also send out boxes in the mail with care products, every little bit helps. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
