My dad fought for his life for 3 years was in remission for 1 1/2 years, he was a caring, generous man, he was a loving man. when he was first dignosed with multiple myeloma he made me promise that i would be there at his side, 2 years later i stuck to that promise i was at his bed side until he had no color left in him, i even closed his eyes. i have really struggled withhis death emotionally, he was my dad my friend and my hero and i hope to be as strong as he was, no matter the pain he always had a smile on his face.
