Some drugs used in chemotherapy can cause temporary or permanent damage to the kidneys or irritate the bladder. Our urine may turn orange, red or yellow, or take on a medicinal smell.

- Notice and report to your doctor any painful or frequent urination, discolored urine, chills, and fever
- Drink plenty of water and other mild fluids to ensure a good flow of urine through the kidneys and speedy evacuation of irritants.
