	Thread started: Apr 14 2006, 12:56 AM EDT Watch Little Snail....the best friend I never met.... I am going to miss her terribly ~ our friendship began on the JH board, then went on to e-mails and phone calls. I think she felt she could really "lay it on me" and I was glad to be there for her any time of the day or night. Many times it was tears...many other times we were laughing hysterically about something. We talked about life and death, family matters, friends, religion, politics, animals, (her cats "spoke" to me on the phone more than once, especially Paloma), cooking, FOOD, and much, much more. She was an articulate ambassidor for New Jersey, and made me promise to go visit...telling me the places to see. I would rather have gone with her. I am sorry I couldn't have. I know she is in an even better place than Jersey now...and can't wait to meet her there some day. Thanks for the fun and laughter there dear one. Lifting my glass of vino up to ya and listening to a bit of Bruce Springsteen with a smile on my face. thanks for the sweet times my friend. 	Thread started: Apr 13 2006, 9:24 PM EDT Watch I have known Ellen,Beth& her family since she was a little girl. She was beautiful, spirited and funny. She had so many fun adventures. We lived vicariously through all of Ellen's stories! The Sand family is amazing~~warm and strong. The extended family and their strong faith will carry them through this difficult time. 	Thread started: Apr 13 2006, 12:59 PM EDT Watch I never had the pleasure of meeting Ellen in person. I knew her only through cyberspace. But even there her beautiful sould shone light a bright star. Ellen helped so many of us who are dealing with ovca or have a loved one with it. I will never forget Ellen's kindness to me during my mother's illness.
