zbnoko Newl lump on arm. (outside upper arm) (page: 1 2) 39 Jul 25 2008, 11:43 PM EDT by f4xsurvivor

I was diagnosed 3 years ago with a myxoid liposarcoma in my left thigh. I had a radical surgery ot hae it removed, so far, so good.

I recently found a small lump on my upper, outer arm about a month ago. It was only the size of a small pea but has gotten to be grape size and for some reason, my untire upper arm in now bruised and painful to the touch. I have an appointment this Tuesday to have it looked at.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this before. Thanks. I can't find much info on the net concerning this.

Anonymous Mesothelioma Cancer 1 Jun 22 2008, 1:10 PM EDT by Anonymous
Thread started: Jun 13 2008, 2:52 PM EDT Watch
A very good friend of mine has a grandfather that was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma. My friend told me that his chances of surviving are almost non-existent and that the treatment options for mesothelioma are pretty much only for slowing it down. I can't believe that more people aren't talking about how dangerous this type of cancer is and how it develops. After doing some research I found out that THE ONLY way you can get mesothelioma is through asbestos exposure. I think those responsible for the asbestos exposure should be held accountable.

What does everyone else think?
