Our cancer diagnosis has turned our worlds upside down. At first, many of us deny the disease and live in a state of depression and fear. It is normal to feel angry and scared, there are ways to cope with the fear. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind. Get into the word of God. Find scriptures on fear, healing, love, God's promises, sickness and disease. Fill your spirit with the word of God 24/7. Sleep with the word, wake up to the word. Give God the glory for every pain you feel. Remember you have a testimony, your job is to shame the devil. Believe and trust that God is and He will, He is no respector of persons. If you keep the word in, there is no room for cancer, and the devil has to step.
As denial passes, we accept the fact that we have cancer and must come to grips with how to live our lives with this disease while still managing to enjoy everything around us. How do you adapt to life with cancer? Wrong! This disease does not belong to you. It comes straight from the pits of hell, and that is where you have to send it back". Don't claim it, never say (my cancer), it is not yours. God does not give us sickness and disease. If you call it yours, the devil hears you and he will destroy you, maybe even take your life.
God allows the devil to set us up, in order for us to lift Him up. You have got to do the natural in order for God to do the supernatural. That means to go to the doctor, find out what the diagnosis is, eat right, take your meds, do the natural thing, then you need to do the supernatural thing, and that is to raise God up, praise Him, Thank Him for all of the inconviences that He has caused you. Pray, fast when you can. Your body is the temple of God, He dwell there. God will not dwell in a dirty temple. You have got to put clean and pure foods into your temple, in order for healing to take place. Your body can heal itself, with God doing the supernatural and you doing the natual, by putting foods from the earth. # 1 garanteed healing is your faith in God. You must trust God. Put God first in your life, not your spouse, children, job, nothing. Keep you TV on the word or TBN. Anoint yourself daily or have someone that is grounded in the word of God to do it.
Many of us are caregivers who have placed the needs of family and friends first. Suddenly we are faced with having to focus on ourselves. While this may seem strange or selfish, such a shift is essential. Keep company with only faith believing Christians, stay away from negative people.
Time that may have once been spent on family or friends must now be spent in doctor's offices, treatment rooms and support groups. The word of God! It is okay that the world revolves around you and your needs during this period of time.
However, while our world changes, life must go on. Although we are grappling with treatment options and life-or-death decisions, we still need to pay bills, send the kids to school, and do our jobs. We may be tempted to intentionally distract ourselves with continuing to devote time and energy to all of these demands -- but we can't.
A certain degree of healthy distraction is good -- a reminder of normalcy in a suddenly surreal existence -- but it is imperative that we not not allow the background noise to impede our focus on the fight against cancer. This is a fight we can win. I can do all things Through Christ who strenghtens me! I will not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord! By His Stripes I Am Healed"
These are the promises of God, you must call Him out on them. Go to the scripture and seek the word of God for your healing.
Think clearly, plan the attack, and focus on preparing to manage side effects, the physical changes and emotional impacts cancer invokes.
A support crew will assist along the way, but we must take charge -- we are the ones on the battlefield. By showing the troops that we intend to fight to stay around far into the future, we set an example of the strength and love it will take to win. Your Faith in God is the only tool you will need in this battle with the devil! Remember, you have got to do the Natural in order for God to do the supernatural!
Find out what Cancer means, where it came from, how you may have gotten it. Look into this disease, learn everything you can about it. Get on the internet and look it up. Go to Wild Oats or your Natural Health Food Store of your choice and get the proper Herbs and vitamins you need to build your immune system and eat right. For now on, you have a new way of living, eating and serving God!

You come first
When we begin to fight against cancer, we must place our own needs first. For many people, this shift in priorities can be a difficult adjustment to make. (Put God First) everything else is on the back burner..Many of us are caregivers who have placed the needs of family and friends first. Suddenly we are faced with having to focus on ourselves. Life must go on
Cancer is called the "Big C" for obvious reasons. Being diagnosed with cancer is one of the most stressful experiences we can go through. Most of us are caught totally by surprise, and thus are unprepared for the upheaval. All sickness is not unto death! However, while our world changes, life must go on. Although we are grappling with treatment options and life-or-death decisions, we still need to pay bills, send the kids to school, and do our jobs. We may be tempted to intentionally distract ourselves with continuing to devote time and energy to all of these demands -- but we can't.

Being the quarterback
Embrace the clichés! They are clichés because they have worked for many people. We are the quarterbacks of our teams, the generals leading our troops into battle, NASCAR drivers about to start a race. Nope, we are Victors and not Victims! We can either be pittiful or powerful, you are not a car or a football player, but a power child of God, with a powerful Testimony! Your Faith shall make you Whole...Think clearly, plan the attack, and focus on preparing to manage side effects, the physical changes and emotional impacts cancer invokes.

Refocusing priorities
Where ever we find ourselves when diagnosed, we'll need to refocus our priorities. Put God First! Repent and be baptized if you have not already.Find out what Cancer means, where it came from, how you may have gotten it. Look into this disease, learn everything you can about it. - Stay positive: The road will be bumpy and it will be extremely difficult at times but do everything you can to stay positive.
- Maintain focus: Keep focused on your treatment plan, managing side effects and taking it each day at a time.
- Set limits: Recognize and admit that you may no longer be able to do it all. It's okay. Wrong" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Your body will let you know when to sit it down. Just use wisdom.
- Delegate: After you've set your limits of what you can and can't do, re-allocating responsibilities is critical. Ask for help from family and friends.
- Stay healthy: Your body will need every ounce of energy you can give it. Consider adopting more nutritous eating habits.
Stevi...
- Adapt: Grow and adapt to your new life and those around you will follow suit. No, don't give in to Cancer, this is not your life, don't adapt to it, get plenty of rest and on a good day, do your thing, but always put God first and pray that God will order your foot steps and don't forget to do the natural. I was told to cut my hair before treatments even started, because my hair would fall out. I anointed my head with oil and my hair grew. Adapt to the word of God only...
